Engineering of Chemical Injection Package:

 

Chemical Injection System are generally used for the following purposes: to prevent, to correct, to preserve

a. To prevent the chemical and physical changes generated inside the closed circuits of industrial plants (i.e. boilers, furnaces, etc ...) as well as inside the pipelines that convey gas or oil from extraction wells to the storage tanks or treatment plants.

b. To correct the chemical and physical conditions of a fluid, especially water, due to the presence of inorganic substances (ions) or organic (bacteria..) which could cause substantial damage to the facilities for the related problems of corrosion, precipitation, fouling, skimmer, emulsions, status change, aggregation, ...

c. To conserve the chemical and physical properties of various substances, for their utilization.

Engineering of Wellhead Control Panel:

 

The Wellhead Control Panel (WHCP) is an electro-pneumatic hydraulic system mainly used both onshore and offshore for the control, monitoring and safety of oil and gas injection and production wells.

It manages the process valves actuators during normal operation or the safety valves blocks in case of emergency. Each well (also named Christmas Tree) is usually equipped with a SCSSV (Surface Controlled Sub-surface Safety Valves) also called down hole valve (DHV) and SSVs (Surface Safety Valves) which consists of a Master Valves (MV) and Wing Valves (WV).

SCSSV is normally an on-off valve driven by hydraulic actuator, while SSVs can be driven by hydraulic actuator or pneumatic actuator depending on the pressure rating. Wellhead Control Panels can be designed to control single or multi-wells.

The WHCP design is influenced by the following actuators data:

- Type (pneumatic or hydraulic)

- Volume

- Minimum and maximum operating pressures

- Time needed for opening and closing the actuators

- Number of the actuators

It is built strictly in accordance with the client specifications and/or the best practice engineering in the absence of any specific requirements; this will be detailed by the TR Impianti engineering team whilst working closely with the client, ensuring the best possible technical and commercial solution.
